Trade City in Bracknell is a mixed-use trade counter and industrial/storage development comprising 12 units totalling 60,000 sq.ft.

The site was a former manufacturing facility upon which Structa undertook ground investigation as well as preparing a flood risk assessment and a transport assessment in support of the planning application.

Structa went on to prepare detailed tender proposals on behalf of Kier Property before novation to Ashe construction to complete the detailed design of the civil and structural engineering works.

The scheme involved ground improvement and construction of reinforced earthwork embankment to provide a level development platform.

The buildings are of steel portal frame construction supported on pad foundations with ground bearing floor slabs supported on natural and improved soils.
